About the company:
The two legacy companies: Bantam Koehring both grew out of long and distinguished history’s of innovation and producing ground breaking products. These products include the 1907 Koehring introduction of a steam driven portable concrete mixer and the 1921 line of cranes that would later become the 1st crawler and rough terrain cranes.
Bantam started in 1942 in Waverly, IA producing the Bantam #1, drag line equipment to help farmers produce lime. By 1953 they had developed the CR35 which was a self propelled version of the Bantam.
