I'm having difficulty setting up Merge Plugins in Mod Organizer 2.1.3 for SSE. Do I need to use the 'portable' version of MO2? (never used that before). I can't figure out how to get the window to set up the correct file paths (champollion, papyrus). MO2 is different from MO1, it seems to me. Sep 20, 2019 Hi guys, I have a problem using merge plugin with mod organizer 2, recognize my plugins but when configuring it in framework integrations 'I am using mod organizer.

Introduction

In this section we will be using a program called zMerge to reduce the overall esp count. Once mods are merged using zMerge you can manually move the plugin to the Optional Directory with Mod Organizer 2 or use Merge Plugin Hide to move all the plugins in a merge at the same time.

It is strongly recommended that a new profile be created within Mod Organizer for each Merge (merge profile). This will help workflow later on, and can be done by:

Idiot check make sure you don't move your mods folder out of Mod Organizer 2 base folder

Creating a Merge

In this section, I will describe the process of creating a Merge. Make sure you setup zMerge as per Section 17 zMerge setup instructions on the Prerequisites Page

1. Setup the Mod Organizer 2 Merge Profile.
2. Active the mods you wish to merge plus all their required masters.
3. Open zEdit and select zMerge from the drop-down menu along with the profile you wish to use.
4. Press Start Session.
5. Hit Create Merge Button.
6. In the new window under the Detail tab fill in the Name and File Name of the merge. Select the 'Clobber' merge method.
7. Under the Plugins Tab tick what plugins you wish to merge.
8. Click the data tab make sure Copy General Assets is Unchecked (anything else can remain Checked) then hit OK.
9. Hit Build
10. when you see 'Merge successfully created' you can click the x and close zMerge.
11. Activate the merge
12. Navigate back to your main game profile then you can either use Merge Plugins hide or manually change the esps to the Optional Directory by double clicking them in the left pane and going to the optional tab.
