May 16, 2019 You should clarify if it refers to MP or SP, because those are different beasts. My answer is from a single player’s perspective, as for multiplayer - every nation can get pretty tricky if you want to do your best, and requires all kinds of knowle. This is a mod that combines other national focus mods to avoid mod conflict and make it easier for others to use. Right now we have launched with 4 nations and I plan to expand. Focus Tree Backgrounds, as the title implies, adds a whole array of new art that appear as the background of national focus trees, featuring official HOI4 wallpapers adapted to their appropriate countries for maximum immersion.

France Hoi4 Focus Tree

Currently, the seven main nations are covered (USA, Soviet Union, Great Britain, France, Germany, Japan, and Italy) plus the Commonwealth and China. Eventually the rest of the countries with focus trees and maybe even all countries in the world get backgrounds. (hopefully!)

Compatible with other mods as long as they have the same tags as the aforementioned nations in-game. However not Ironman-compatible as it features some special scripting that might break it. Thus you and your friends will have to run this mod at the same time if you want to do MP.
